Without Limits Trailblazers
The squad raced at the NC Blueberry Festival 5K and 1 mile on Saturday...... Great races all around. Coach Tom and Coach Pierce won the men and women's side, both with new course records. Matthew Barbabella 17:17 (1st in AG, 4th overall), Chris Perez 19:00 (20 sec PR), Grayson Brazik (3 sec PR), Fisher Jones (4th in AG), Banner Nelson (1st in AG), Reese Jones (moved up 15 spots in the last 1/2 mile) Grace Clifford (1st in mile with a PR of 7:55), and Lily Clifford, all had well executed races and strong finishes. Trailblazer mom, Tiffany Jones earned the top spot in her age group too. We will always make the call for practice by 4:55pm. We will email and post on social media. Make sure you check the weather radar when coming to practice. Storms can always pop up and you need to stay near our location in case we need to take shelter. Also you must sign up for the track meet next Wednesday the 28th. The meet will have a 1600, 200 and 4 x 400 relay. It will include adult athletes and youth kids. Tuesday: 5:45pm to 7:00pm - UNCW Track Wednesday 5:00pm to 6:30pm - NHHS Track Thursday 5:45pm to 7:00pm - UNCW Track SINGLETS AND SOCKS Coach Ann Marie will have singlets and socks at practice if you want to purchase any, please see her. DISTANCE RUNNERS WHAT SHOULD YOU BE DOING OUTSIDE OF PRACTICE? Without Limits practices will make you strong and fast, but running on your own will make a huge difference on how you feel at practice and overall endurance. Monday: OFF Tuesday: WOL PM Wednesday: WOL PM Thursday: WOL PM Friday: Rest or Pushups, Sit Ups, Bridges, and Planks Saturday: Long Run - 60 minutes Sunday: Aerobic run 30 minutes
